FORTHCOMING TRIPS ON THE COSTA BLANCA

SEPTEMBER - DECEMBER 2019

Santa Pola and Island of Tabarca     Monday 30th September,  Thursday 17thOctober ,  Tuesday 26thNovember

Spend the day in Santa Pola from where you can take a boat ride in a glass bottomed catamaran over to the scenic island of Tabarca for an explore and a spot of lunch. It's the only inhabited island in this region with shops and restaurants. This is always an enjoyable day out! We will arrive approx 11.15  and you have free time until we leave at  approx 17.00

Cartagena and Harbour Boat Tour      Saturday  5th  October ,  Saturday  16thNovember

There’s much to see and do in the lovely town of Cartagena, famous for it’s Roman History. Lots of museums as well as a Roman Amphitheatre and Castle . The town centre itself is mostly pedestrianised and is a pleasure to explore. There is a relaxing harbour boat tour of 40 minutes included on this trip. We aim to arrive at 11am and  leave at 16.45.

Valencia or Valencia Bioparc        Tuesday 8thOctober , Wednesday  23rdOctober , Wednesday 6thNovember , Thursday  28th                                                              November, Thursday 12thDecember, Monday 30thDecember

A chance to visit the wonderful city of Valencia, the home of Paella! The centre itself is compact which is perfect for exploring. Wander through the Old Town and marvel at the food in it's famous Indoor Market!  Or you can spend the day at the Bioparc, which is rated in the Top Ten Zoos in the world by Tripadvisor or at Valencia's famous City of Arts and Sciences and the Oceanagrafic .Or you can simply enjoy a day's shopping! Why not try out the new Primark by the Bull Ring-It's the second largest in Spain and the wonderful El Corte Ingles department stores. There really is something for everyone! We will be arriving approx 11am  and you have free time until we leave at 17.00. Choose from 4 drop off points: City of Art & Sciences, Torres de Serranos for the old town, Calle Colon for all the shops or the Bioparc.

Ayora Honey Festival and Valley del Jucar River Cruise      Saturday 12th October 

This will be a day to remember! Spend the morning in the pretty town of Ayora, complete with castle, during it's famous Honey Festival.The streets are alive with food tastings and demonstrations and market stalls. Yum Yum!

We arrive at 11 am and then will pick you up again at 3pm to take you up the road to another fabulous place- Cofrentes , the starting place for a fabulous river cruise down the canyons of the Rio Jucar .

The Jewels of the Costa Blanca (Algar Falls, Guadalest and Altea Old Town)   Saturday 26thOctober , Wednesday  20th                                                                                                                                                   November

3 of the most stunning places in the Costa Blanca in 1 day! We drive you to the Algar Falls, a picturesque nature reserve ,with 3 different waterfalls to see. This is an important area in Spain for growing the Nisperos and you'll be able to buy them at the local shops.You have 1 and a half hours free time to explore before moving on to beautiful medieval Guadalest, reputedly the most visited village in Spain! Stroll through the traffic free streets , lined with an array of independant shops selling crafts and local produce as well as  restaurants, up through a rock tunnel to Plaza de Castillo, where you will be rewarded with gorgeous views! You have 2 and a half hours free in Guadalest so time for lunch and an explore before we then take you to the old town in Altea for an hour ,where you will be free to explore the quaint old town with it's whitewashed houses and Iconic church.

Concentaina- All Saints Fair           Friday1stNovember

Concentaina holds a historic fair every year on All Saints Day and is one of the most important events which takes place in the Valencian community with more than 800 open air stalls. It's very famous for the craft stalls but there's lots more to see with a medieval market and an Arab souk. Besides that there's entertainment and lots of demonstrations! Food is important too and  there is a special gourmet area where you can try excellent dishes for a reasonable price and purchase ingredients to try your own version of them at home. We aim to arrive at 11am and leave at 5 pm.

A night out in Benidorm or The Roy Orbison Story at Benidorm  Palace     Sunday 17th November

Enjoy a night out in Benidorm without having to drive yourself back! Choose from 2 drop off points: Plaza Triangular for Old Town & shops or Benidorm Palace for the fabulous Roy Orbison Story.  We aim to arrive at 8pm and leave after the show at midnight.

Caravaca de La Cruz  Medieval Market       Saturday 7thDecember

A great day to explore lovely Caravaca de la Cruz to get you in that Christmassy mood! They are hosting a Medieval Market with over 200 stalls in the atmospheric streets of the old town. Perfect for Christmas Shopping and lots to food to tempt you!There’s a host of things to see, from jugglers to medieval music and costumed artisans demonstrating their craft!

We will be arriving approx 11.00 and leaving at 16.30.

Xativa - Famous Living Christmas Belen       Friday 27thDecember

A Christmas day out exploring the historal town of Xativa, complete with Borja Palaces and it's magnificent fortress of a castle. It also has a good array of independant shops. Every December, Xativa constructs the largest living nativity scene in Spain , with live animals and figurines made by Fallas artists . It's a great time to explore Xativa and you will have time to visit the castle and have a spot of lunch. We aim to arrive at 11 am and pick you up again at  4.30pm .
