Javea celebrates the 'Mig Any' Half-Year "Virgen de Loreto" on the 10th of March. The "Virgen de Loreto" Fiesta is to honour the town's patron saint, and is held in September. This "Mig any" is a special day that brings together hundreds of people every year. The planned program includes activities for all ages including inflatables, music, sports and a great party atmosphere.

Half Year Virgen de Loreto Fiesta Day - 10 March

2018 Fiesta Schedule

The event is centered around the square in Avenida Jaime I.

09:00   Despertà (traditional wake-up call with music & fireworks) through the streets of the Port.
11:00   Traditional ball game of Valencian pilota and chess in in Virgen de Loreto street, and Paseo Jaume I.
12:00   Start of the "Bous a la Mar" on Paseo Jaume I, where there will be inflatables for the children and "carretons" (artificial bulls heads on wheels) for the little ones. Drinks and seafood tapas are served. 
15:00   Valencian paella will be served.
17:00   The group La Mocha will perform on Paseo Jaume I and children's activities will continue. At the end of the concert, the party will continue with the music of AIBAX & BUP.

The atmosphere of the baret will remain throughout the day until 22:00.
