The Business

Owners Jon & Nadine welcome you to the Moraira Therapy Centre.
Nadine has had several years in the UK as a qualified counsellor specialising in weight management, stress and depression. She has qualifications in nutrition, nlp (neuro-linguistic programming), life coaching and building self-confidence.

At the Moraira Therapy Centre they like to be unique and think of their clients and their individual requirements. They tailor their courses to suit their clients needs. They will work together to help you make lifestyle changes throughout the course with ongoing support. Their courses include nutrition, exercise, confidence building, weight management counselling, cookery skills and life coaching.
As part of their uniqueness their clients are more than welcome to bring along your partner, on an accommodation only basis. Please enquire for details.

Their Weight Management course at the Moraira Therapy Centre offers a full programme of activities that will help you towards your weight management goal. This includes group counselling, nutrition advice, cookery workshops, juicing workshops, exercise and daily activities e.g. outdoor walks and yoga. Other topics we will cover in our workshops are what makes people overweight, what makes us fat, compulsive eating and food rewards, building a weight loss plan, food intolerance & weight gain and stress & weight gain.
They offer a five day weight management course from £495 per person.
      



Yoga

At moraira therapy centre they have qualified and experienced yoga teachers who are trained in various forms of yoga.
Dru Yoga is a very flowing style of Yoga which is great for all ages and all shapes and sizes and fitness levels it is also very good for relieving bad backs. Dru Yoga is a graceful and potent form of yoga, based on flowing movements, directed breathing and visualisation. With its foundations set firmly in ancient yogic tradition, Dru works on body, mind and spirit—improving strength and flexibility, creating core stability, building a heightened feeling of positivity, and deeply relaxing and rejuvenating your whole body. Dru is a style of yoga that can be quickly dipped into or learnt in more depth over a lifetime.

Sivananda Yoga is a more traditional form of Yoga focusing on a series of postures which are fantastic for whole body and mind fitness. Sivananda is a school of hatha yoga that takes inspiration from the teachings of Swami Sivananda (1887-1963), brought to the West by his disciple Swami Vishnudevananda in the 1950s. Sivananda was a medical doctor before he became a Hindu monk, and both strands are evident in the style of yoga he founded. Sivananda yoga today places a strong emphasis on physical health and well-being, but it is also probably the international yoga 'brand' that most faithfully preserves and promotes the Hindu roots of yoga.
Mindful Meditation is suitable for nearly everyone who wants to still the mind and leads to improved well-being and inner peace as well as having many health benefits. Mindful Meditation is a a concept with roots both in Buddhism and the "be here now" days of the '60s. At the Moraira Therapy Centre the purpose of the course is to make self-confidence such a natural part of yourself, that you not only appear confident on the outside but also feel completely at ease with yourself inside.

Body Image courses

The first steps to becoming the most attractive, irresistible version of your self is knowing who you really are. In this short course at moraira therapy centre you will get to know yourself, have lots of fun through the belly dancing, find yourself in the group work and self development and change the way you feel about yourself. How you feel inside determines what happens in your life.
Belly dance is an ancient art form from the Middle East that began as a midwife's technique to strengthen the muscles in the female body which are used during labour. The gentle flowing movements of the dance work with a woman's body to produce beautiful movement and grace.
This dynamic course will focus on balance, co-ordination and technique to give you a firm base to begin exploring the amazing art of belly dance, no matter what your level of fitness or experience. I want you to take away a sense of confidence and new-found dancing ability from this fun and energizing workshop.
