Santa Semana (or Holy Week) is the name for Easter Week in Spain. This is a culturally and religiously important event, celebrated across Spain with processions that depict "The Passion of the Christ".
The 2025 programme is below:

PALM SUNDAY
(Domingo de Ramos)
-9.00h Holy Mass.
-11.00h Blessing of bouquets in the Hermitage of El Salvador, then procession to the church and Holy Mass.
-18.00h PROCESSION BROTHERHOOD OUR LADY AND VIRGIN OF HEALTH.
-19.00 Holy Mass.
GOOD FRIDAY
-9.00h Via Crucis. Ascent to the Hermitage of El Salvador.
-10.30 Holy Hour in front of the monument.
-18.30h Office of Good Friday.
-20.00h PROCESSION OF THE HOLY BURIAL
(Note: all those women who wish may accompany the Holy Sepulchre dressed in black with tile and mantilla)
HOLY SATURDAY
-09.00 Prayer with Mary in her solitude. Second day Novena to Divine Mercy.
-22.00 Easter Vigil, in the Church. Celebration of Easter.
EASTER SUNDAY
-09.00 Holy Mass.
-11.00 Concentration of the Plaza de San Salvador for the encounter of the Risen Lord with the Virgin. Then, procession to the church and celebration of the Holy Mass of Resurrection.
