Calpe Paseo Bowls Club (on La Fossa sea front) recently welcomed visiting bowlers from Switzerland. During their visit they played a couple of friendly games with members and a very good time was had by all. They have also welcomed a group of people from Belgium who played bowls for their very first time, having no experience of the game. Some have now joined the club but sadly some have had to return to Belgium back to work but have said "they will be back" especially now that they have the bug of playing bowls. Calpe Promenade Bowls Club are always happy to welcome bowlers from other countries and always happy to welcome new members whether you have played before or want to give it a try for the very first time. Just come along on a Sunday, Tuesday or Friday morning at 9.30. They are on the seafront of La Fossa beach"
