Playa Ambolo is a naturist sandy beach located on the Cabo la Nao, although swimwear is allowed. The beach is only 300m in length, but is one of the most beautiful beaches to discover in Javea. It is currently closed due to danger of rockfalls and landslides, but there have been efforts to re-open the beach recently.

Cala Ambolo is a naturist sandy beach located on the Cabo la Nao, although swimwear is allowed. The beach is only 300m in length, but is one of the most beautiful beaches to discover in Javea. There are no rental services available for watersports, no restrooms, no lifeguards, and no umbrella or sun bed rental available either, but it is a beautiful spot for snorkelling, with hundereds of fish and gorgeous waters.

ACCESS: The beach can be accessed by heading south on the Ctra. del Portitxol, then turning right onto a street called Calle de Igor Stravinsky. There is a barricade that says in Spanish, ‘only residents beyond this point’. Turn down a street to the left just before this and along here is where you can park.
FACILITIES: There is a viewpoint above the beach called Mirador Ambolo, but other than that, facilities are limited.
